General Product Safety Regulation

The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) is a European law that aims to ensure that consumer products in Europe are safe. The GPSR sets out the rules that market participants must adhere to. These are manufacturers, authorised representatives, importers, distributors and fulfilment service providers. In addition, special attention is paid to distance selling and online marketplaces. The GPSR will apply from 13 December 2024.
